Highlander Fleet 37
The Louisville Sailing Club was established in 1955 by seventeen charter members who were previously members of Louisville Turners. The club’s riverfront properties were purchased at the same time as its establishment. The Articles of Incorporation of the club stated that its objective was to promote sailing among its members, provide facilities for club members and their boats, and foster a spirit of good fellowship among its members.
